North Gower History Society

ABOUT

The Society meets at 7.00pm on the second Monday of each month at the Llanmadoc Community Hall, Llanmadoc, just down the hill from The Britannia Inn.

We organise a programme of monthly talks given by members about their local researches and by guest speakers on a wide range of talks covering micro history to putting Gower history into the wider context of Welsh, British or world wide history. Recent talks.

The Society is developing a research programme covering a wide range of topics. Members are encouraged to contribute to any projects in which they are interested.

LIBRARY

The Society has a small library of books and articles about Gower. Library

History & Heritage Day

On Saturday 27 September 2025, the Society joined over twenty other heritage organisations at the History & Heritage Fair organised by the Swansea branch of The Historical Association.
